The Hummus factory, located in Boca Raton, was quite a treat. I have a Mediterranean background so as soon as I found out we were filming a Dining Divas episode at a Mediterranean restaurant I was very excited to jump on board. This restaurant is located in Boca Raton, and they also have a location in Hollywood, Florida.
When my co-host Christine and I arrived, we met in the kitchen with Agatha who handmade hummus with a perfect creamy texture. They make fresh batches every day as its in high demand. Later we met chef Joel as he handmade falafel, which is a very delicious vegetarian treat! We even got to try our hand at crafting some falafel rolls. The food here has a very authentic Mediterranean taste. It’s a healthy fast food concept and this spot is perfect for vegetarians as well!
They offer different types of hummus bowls, which can be personalized to your taste. Each bowl is served with oven baked pita bread - a very traditional Mediterranean dish. My favorite bowl was the Hummus Tahini which is a classic bowl served with chickpeas, parsley, paprika and olive oil. I was very impressed with the authentic taste in every bite.
