Visiting Wisconsin was not something I expected to do this year, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise that gave me a nice change of pace and some new experiences. It was an adventure filled with cheese, lakes, and small-town charm. Let me share some highlights from my trip!

No trip to Wisconsin is complete without indulging in its famous dairy products. I visited a local cheese factory and sampled a variety of delicious cheeses, including squeaky cheese curds. Every bite was pure bliss!

Wisconsin is home to thousands of lakes, and I couldn’t resist exploring them. I had my first pontoon ride on Lake Mendota, enjoying the serene beauty of the water. We also did some backyard fishing with worms we dug up ourselves—a fun and unique experience. One of my favorite parts of the trip was being able to see the stars, a beautiful contrast to the city lights of Miami.

For the first time, I rode a four-wheeler through the scenic trails. The thrill of navigating through the woods was exhilarating and added a dash of adventure to my trip. I even made a wish on a dandelion, something I’ve always wanted to do.

Wisconsin’s small towns, like Cedarburg, offer a walk through history with their 19th-century buildings and quaint shops. The friendly locals and charming streets made every stop delightful.

From cheese tastings to pontoon rides and small-town charm, Wisconsin was a wonderful change of pace.
