Talk about a Burger that is totally Clutch! I visited Clutch Burger with my co-host from the Dining Divas TV show, Christine Curran and we both loved it! It is Dining Diva approved!
I really enjoyed the concept of this burger spot located in “the Mile” heart of Coral Gables (Miami). The restaurant isn’t a fast food burger joint, it’s more of a sophisticated burger restaurant with wines and craft beers. It definitely lives up to its motto: Never Basic, Always Clutch. The burgers are made with top grade Wagyu Beef. They have 13 different options to choose from including vegan and lamb!
From the delicious options available we sampled three Burgers. The Volcano Burger, The 305 Burger and The Clutch Burger. We were able to join chef Carlos in the kitchen and watch the process of a gourmet burger unfold into the perfect blend of spices and Miami Heat! Believe it or not, I was able to contain my self to not sneak a little taste until the table was officially set, even though I was very tempted to bite into the burgers. Okay, okay… fine! You caught me. I did sneak a little nibble before they left the kitchen! The burgers looked mouth watering from the moment they arrived at the table. Finally, it was time to indulge. We sampled all three. My co-host's favorite was The Volcano burger which had more of a spicy kick to it.
My favorite was the Clutch Burger, and I sampled it accompanied by fries and a soda. I always mix ketchup with Tabasco sauce, to dip in my fries. All the other burgers were very delicious as well but the signature "Clutch sauce" on the Clutch Burger sealed the deal. I can’t wait to go back and share this spot with my friends. If you are looking for a Gourmet Burger Spot in Miami this is it. I highly recommend it.
